Topic: ID Help please #2 of 2 vases

I am looking for some help with an attribution on this vase. Please see the other vase I am trying to ID, as they seem to be similar in some ways....

I am trying to assist someone and do not currently ahve base shots or dimensions. I will get those if I can.

Any thoughts are appreciated...  Thanks in advance...

Been looking through my books and all I've found is mould formed vase in  Gullivers Victorian Glass,British designs 1850-1914,except this has a plain flat rim,dated c.1880(page 85 if you have the book)if not have emailed it to you,

Gut feel from the thickness, colour, crimp and clear rim suggests American, starting with Fenton.

I am guessing too Cathy, as that is what I had posted a few days ago for the other piece like this.  My guesses were FENTON or MT. WASHINGTON.

But I was just guessing too ... but glad to see we are on the same wave-length with Fenton...

Here is an image of the underside. This piece measures approx 6.5 x 5 inches......

I should also mention that although these pieces (the other posting) are located in the US, my suspicion is that they are not US production and are related to each other based on the unique color combination.

Craig,presume you've already emailed Fenton with a picture,they were quite friendly when I sent them a photo of my giant fish,Keith.

I have not yet, I thought James may come along and confirm or deny. I do not think it is Fenton, as the color combination is not one I have seen them use before, and it is a pretty distinctive color combo.......  but I am certainly not a Fenton expert....  I will email him today though....
