« on: June 02, 2010, 03:30:31 PM »
Hello all, I bought this lovely piece of glass today at a car boot. I think its a Chribska piece but it was so cheap I'm not so sure. I hope its a good one as its really lovely. Its just over six inches across and 4 inches tall. Its red, yellow and clear and very heavy.   Any help would be lovely. Thanks cheryl.

Looks like it is Cheryl.

Don't let the asking price be your guide, I have paid 20 pounds for something worth 2 and also 5 pounds for something worth 500 (I like that one a lot!).

Looks like I got a nice bargain then!! Will be keeping this piece, my daughter thinks it looks like a jelly  :24:   It came with a lovely Whitefriars blue bowl, keeping that as well.  Cheryl

Hey Mrs Vulture   :) Could I offer you a suggestion?  If you add photos in future, could you possibly add them using the 'Attach' button underneath the Reply box?  The problem is that Photobucket links run out after a short while, which will leave your thread with no photos eventually...which would be a great shame and be a loss for people Searching for items like yours in the future.  Photobucket is a fabulous resource, but the GMB really does need permanent links to work for posterity.

It's always lovely seeing new glass on the GMB...so this is just a suggestion.   :) :)

Hi Max, I always get my long suffering husband to post my photos as I'm a total air head where these things are concerned. But he has promised to try putting the pictures on the way they should be. If we get stuck I'll call for help!!!   And I love this piece of glass, its been growing on me since I bought it.   Thanks Cheryl
