Is this a Mdina?

Thanks everyone. Here's a picture of the whole vase. It's a beautiful vase.

Oooh, I just have to get my oar in about something.
Nemmie, it's a Mdina mark, not a signature, though in Michael Harris' hand is quite unusual. There are a great number of different "hands" used to put the Mdina mark on the base of pieces - though either Michael Harris' or Eric Dobson's writing are unusual, very desirable and do pinpoint an early date.
At one point I had counted up to 25 different styles of writing, then I got cross-eyed and dizzy and gave up.

Beautiful vase - very green as I don't have one yet and it's one of my must have pieces.

Well done, and in Michael Harris script too - lovely!  :hiclp:

Mmm, very nice example. Tengel61, can you tell us the size of the vase please (that's the nerd in me asking)? Also, a belated "welcome to the message board" is in order. Out of curiosity, are you in the USA?

Sue you have to get up earlier. >:D
