That looks more plausibly Czech. Nice opaque white interior too. One of M's looks a little watery, another Chinese trait.

 :clap: Thanks lustrousstone. I thought it was and my searches had sort of confirmed  it. Although it is always good to have confirmation from the knowledgeable people here. When I saw it in the window my mind said grab it, and it was Czech. I am assuming this has no known maker?  :spls:

For reference I now believe my pair of vases are possibly Kralik.  I have just bought a piece of marked Kralik which has a pontil mark done in the same way and that looks identical to the pontil mark and ground effect on these vases.

A pontil mark similarity is not often very conclusive of anything

amended my post to read 'possibly Kralik'. 
I know what you mean Christine but these pontil marks are remarkably similar.
