Studio Vase - another illegible signature.
« on: July 01, 2010, 01:38:07 PM »
Very nicely made vase by an accomplished maker, but I don't know who and can't read the signature.

19cm high flattened form, yellow opal panels divided by clear canes containing two fine amethyst lines. Polished base with engraved signature to side dated 1999.

Help much appreciated.
Martyn.

Cheers Ivo,

that's definitely the same maker and signature...wouldn't have guessed that it said 'John Max' though, there's a dot over each word for starters!

A few quick google searches has turned up nothing but that ebay listing? That can't be right can it? I'll dig a bit deeper...
