Cowrie shell shaped ashtray - who?
« on: July 04, 2010, 01:25:31 PM »
Hi more donations to the Isle of Wight Hospice. All comments are useful. Information on an item always helps to realise the best price, even if it is only another £1, it all helps. This is an almost cowrie shell shaped ashtray. It is 8cms wide and 11.5cms wide. The base is ground.

Mod: subject changed to something more meaningful

Realised that I have the wrong shell! Should  be COWRIE. Should I repost do you think as I don't seem able to change the subject.

Jeanne,
i wouldnt worry, its not a valuble item, a couple of quid at the most. Might be Italian, but nothing to get excited about.
Cheers
