blue and green bowls possibly millefiori canes stretched?
« on: July 04, 2010, 01:30:54 PM »
Hi, yet more from the IOW Hospice. We have been receiving quite a lot of glass recently. These are 10cms. across at the widest. They are thick and heavy with ground bases. They seem to be millefiori canes that have been stretched inside clear glass. Thanks.

Mod: subject changed to something more meaningful

Modern Chinese or even Spanish. I've seen bowls this shape in Spanish recycled glass. Not much value

Thankyou all round. Will endeavour to post more sensible and informative titles in future! The little bowls will go into the shop with a realistic price and description.
