Unknown Amber Ashtray, 4 lobes twisted (??)
« on: July 13, 2010, 10:40:28 AM »
I (think) this is an Ashtray, as there are places for cigs -- unless that is just the design ??

Amber bowl or Ashtray.  Four lobes that are twisted at the base.  No idea what at all.......My three guesses would be:  Chibsake, Lorraine (Canadian Glass) or possibly Chalet (??)

About 8.5 inches wide, corner to cornet, 5 inches across, 4 inche tall, about a 2.74 width base

Clueless, in Canada.
Thxs as always for your assistance  :hi:

Once again I have been *rooting* around the net -- and I am not sure at all, but I am thinking (  :24: ) that this *might* be Lorraine Glass from Canada.

I found another item that (kinda) has 3 of the same characteristics as mine.  Here is the link:  http://www.classyoption.com/glass/70515artglassamber.html  I see some similarities in the:  1)  Color, 2) the pulled sides (lobes), and 3) in the twisted lobes in the base.

???????????????????????????????

So just throwing out a guess here of what I think my item may be......  :-\  :X:
