Topic: Big Green Vase, Bubbles - I am Confused ;)

 :hi: I bought this today and not sure if it is  :or: or not - as I am confused.

Looks made pretty good, there is some wear on the bottom edges, the pontil scar (?) but the bubbles are different sizes from top to bottom, but in each corrsponding rows they are very evenly made -- So like I said, I am confused.

Size is 11.5 inches tall and the top has like a curved dip in it - for what - I am not sure, as there is no handle ??.  The top opening is about 5 inches across.

So is this  :or:, or better? I think it is still pretty, and not done as sloppy as some Chinese I have seen -- so I dunno  :spls:

P.S.....It was hard to photograph the bubbles, as you can see the bubbles on the other side, which makes the one I was trying to photograph confusing -- but I tried my best.  I am going to post a few extra pics due to this -- which I hope is OK -- and to see if any of them Help some more....

Ya'know Rose, I'm not a Blenko expert but that's what hit me when I saw it.  Blenko did some similar controlled bubble work and the pontil being as it is seem to lead me down that path.

By the way, to photo the front side of the glass without the distraction of the back side insert a piece of rolled up white paper.  Works wonders.

I could not find any matching and I went through all the catologs.  I did find some different shapes, and colors here that have similar bubbles to as the one I posted:

Could it be BISCHOFF Glass (West Virginia) as I read that Bischoff Glass is sometimes mistaken for Blenko, but I do not know much.  Have been rooting around now for Bischoff and I did find this piece, and the bubbles in it are quite similar to mine -- but I only a Novice here:  http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=320559266928

? The more I look, the more confused I am getting -- must be  :sleep: for me ??

Well I tried to take some pics of the bubbles.  Near the bottom they (the bubbles) are more *round*, and as you go up the vase, then they become more *oval*, and as you get to the top of it, they become oblong slashed bubbles (longer than wide?).  So here is a sampling of all the bubbles shapes on this vase (if it is a vase??) as it looks like it has a (sort of spout) but then no handle, so I assume then a Vase ??

The last photo here is taking a pic downwards into the glass from the inside.

I am still wondering IF this might be BISCHOFF Glass (West Virginia).  I read somewhere that that type of glass that has bubbles in it -- That the bubbles tend to become more oblong closer to the rim of the item.  Plus the bottom kinda looks like some examples I have found.....but I am still ?

Any second opinions?  Thxs
