Large ugly vase contender
« on: July 24, 2010, 08:18:58 PM »
Hi peeps saw this and I thought it had to be worth a shot for at least 3rd place in the ugly vase list.  Its various shades of blue of squarish form and purple fold that looks like someone has folded a manky sock over.  Brownish sort of stripes with a bit of gold leaf/copper inclusions thrown in.  Looks to be cased and has a snapped off unfinished pontil.  I am going to name it the twist and shout vase.  Any help in manufacturer age etc and please ofcourse what place on the ugly list.  Thinking chinese I wonder why teehee!  :ooh:
