Holmegaard Vase?
« on: August 01, 2010, 12:41:22 AM »
Hi, I just got the taller one and am unsure if Holmegaard, the small one is confirmed HG. I have looked online and can't find it, so I am not holding my breath.

I did notice it looks very like this one on ebay but in a different colour although seller is not sure either. You could compare the sizes given.

Hi, well spotted, I can only assume that it not Holmegaard as I don't think they did colour variations of an opal series?

Tall vase: possibly Empoli if it's older, quite likely Poland if it's new.

The small vase: it's not one I immediately recognise from Holmegaard - where was it confirmed as such?

Oh, excellent. Not seen that series before - I don't have many of Lütken's later designs. I'll have to keep a lookout for it.  :)
