Czech Lamp base age?
« on: August 03, 2010, 04:06:05 PM »
Hi all,
I've got this lamp base with a few questions.  It's 6" (15cm) tall.  It's got a nice feel to the finish - satin like.

Would this be considered 'end-of-day' glass?  - it's primarily just the two colors but there are a few trailings that are different.

Can it be somewhat dated by the label? - appears to gold tone 'Made in Czechoslovakia' stamp (etched?)

Is it worth the effort to associate it with a maker increase it's potential resale value?

Thanks.

Spatter glass would be a better term. End of day is rather an urban myth.
