I have had this elegant vase for a long time just brought it out of storage to display and wondered if anyone hadone and knew who made it

Your picture is also very small. What we need is a high resolution picture resized by compressing (not cropping or lowering the resolution) so that the longest dimension is about 700 pixels. See here for help http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,6522.0.html

Also white is not a good background for clear glass: try plain black or navy.
