Bases ??
« on: August 10, 2010, 03:05:36 PM »
:hi: I was just thinking here (oh no, not again) but I know we have a database for Labels etc -- but would we be able to start one for bases?

The reason why I ask that is I am still searching for that smokey heavy vase I posted here -- and I am getting no-where.  So would be nice to have a section showing different bases -- which might be concaved, smooth, polished, rough, polished and concaved.......and the names of some companies that make them.

I am coming up empty handed for that Smokey vase -- so I do not know where to turn.  There must be someone/somewhere that made this type of base, or have a similar pic of a base like that.  Hence this idea...

Plus some people are new, and may not know the difference of what they look like, or the terms....I have learn, but a far way to go yet.

Just a suggestion -- I will go hide my head  :ooh:  LOL

That ain't going to work Rose, as bases are rarely specific to a particular company. They are just one of the clues.
