You're a cold, cold-hearted man, David.

(Pssst...  You know, I could very secretly send you a little Tarnowiec label which you could stick to the vase and we could pretend I'm finally right... no one would ever know...  really... So how about it?  Eh?)

Anik:

You have me pegged exactly: a cold, cold-hearted man. (But isn't the "cold, cold-hearted" more than a little redundant?)

However, the Tarnowiec label is the best offer I've had today, but, typically of men (cold, cold-hearted), I'm not quite sure what the offer is.

Now the puzzle. No, still wrong.

I am wondering if fazzoletto is a clue or a red herring?
It looks a nicely made piece of glass from planet earth.......... This is a puzzle... so is Scandinavian a possibility?

Robert:

I'm amazed once again at your knowledge. You are absolutely right, it is glass from the planet Earth. Now can you be a little more specific, and, no, not Scandinavia, and, no, fazzoletto isn't a red herring. Well, not totally.

And not Stourbridge. I wonder who in Stourbridge you were thinking of?

Max

Some of the world's greatest truths have been written on a stamp. Sorry, not this stamp.

And there there is that other Murano in Venezuela, ICET, and others, I'm sure.

But, no, not Brazil.

Hmm. It has been formed from a slumped round shape rather than square, and the former (which created the base) is square rather than round. Blenko? Bischoff? Tiffin? Viking? Not lumpy enough to be my fave Japanese company.

Pah. It's Rainbow Glass on one of their good days.
