Cathy:

Excellent thinking. The base is perfectly round, though. And, no to all of these companies. I'll put a picture of the base on tomorrow to see if that helps.

I think the reference to Stourbridge was suggesting Richardsons  -  in the latter part of the C19 they produced some real mouth watering j.i.p pieces with lovely Cranberry/opalescent shaded rims.
But, back to the handkerchief vase...........has anyone suggested Taiwan?

Why are you saying here that it's NOT Tarnowiec, (which is what I strongly suspect myself) but in the cafe, you confess that it is????

That's cheating!
Here's my big tarnowiec fazzoletto - labelled, it's fancier than yours  :P
I use it as the wastepaper bin in the downstairs loo.

And this is the enormous Tarnowiec vase (labelled) which is the wastepaper bin in the upstairs loo.

Both contain the inside cardboard from a toilet roll - to give an idea of dimensions. :usd:

He's teasing Anik, who is so "desperate to win" she's trying to bribe David and wanting send him a Tarnowiec label to stick on it. Scroll up.
