Topic: Hello can anybody help me is this a Murano fish tank?

Hello I am FLoris from the Netherlands :hi:


I have this item for a few years now, I really love it and I searthing info on the internet and ebay if I can find something else like this, now i know this can be something special, I think this is Murano glass, but what do you experts think of it :X: ? I got it from a charity shop!

100% murano a very nice one . jp imho . :ooh: i see it has two sections that is another good point . that gives it depth .

I would say that link you found is not the same.  Mainly because of the lines in the your fish (more rounded).  I believed your aquarium is made by Alfredo Barbini from his furnace not by Cenedese.  This is a good thing!  Alfredo Barbini is a master at aquariums.  We recently had a discussion on another forum about your kind of aquarium.  I learned a lot about them from another fellow member and friend.  Here it is: http://www.fossilfly.com/Forums/showthread.php?t=2997
If you don't mind me asking.  How much did you pay?  They are usually quite pricey.
