trailed vase with bubbles - ID = Spiegelau / Bavaria
« on: September 15, 2010, 06:05:50 PM »
Hi everyone,

I wonder if anyone has any info on this vase that I bought at the local market on Sunday. The vase is cm tall and quite heavy for its size, the vase has random bubbles running all through the clear glass. The trailing has been applied to the outside of the vase and has an oily look on some bits. It has a polished rim and a slightly dished base. The clear glass has a slight texture to it. I was assured that it belonged to a gentleman who was 'a good age' and had never set foot in TKMAX, so hopefully not too new!!

Thanks in advance, David

no real info - but I have a cylinder vase from the same stables which was bought 25 years ago, so at least it is not recent.

Hi,
it´s been made by Spiegelau / Bavaria; late 60´s or 70´s I think.
