Hi,  the shape look VSL ish but normally signed, also seen these described as Czech, what's the base like? a top side and base shot normally helps, sold a lot of Whitefriars over the years and it's not something I have seen but have learn to 'never say never' but personally I would say probably not. Not much help but maybe a starter for others to comment.
Oh nearly forgot  :or:  :pb:

Dunno.  It does look like a streaky...I suppose there's always a chance it's WF even though it's not catalogued.  Can we have a shot of the base please?

The base will be polished flat with a triangular pontil mark - seen a few of these recently. IMHO the base finish discounts WF - even as an uncatlalogued oddity.

I had contact from the seller prior to listing, and certainly did not commit to a Whitefriars ID. I too thought the triangular mark on the base was unusaly - even it had been a frigger I feel fairly certain it would have had a usual ground, polished and circular pontil mark

Chris...if it had been a frigger from WF, it wouldn't have to conform to any particular colour combination.  :)

Nic and Emmi...you obviously have more information than me (so true!).  I haven't seen any of these around...is this particular one on Ebay at the moment Emmi?

Thanks Max :sun: thought " it does look like a streaky" meant you thought it looked a streaky WF piece in particular I didn't suggest it looks like any particular colour
