Another bark style vase although the pattern is not bark itself. Any ideas?

I've seen these described as Davidson vase Luna pattern from the 70s, but I'm hesitant because if I google those names, I come across these (encased in clear glass), but also some that look similar, but of lesser quality (not encased, looking more roughly textured). Not sure which one is the real luna - but I'm sure there are others who can clarify this.

Apparently these vases are often mistaken for Davidson luna, I found a lot of threads when I searched further on that name - but I didn't find a positive ID so far, though some people have suggested Japanese, new Brittish Heart Foundation charity shops or Oberglass.
