Is this Chribska/Hospodka?
« on: November 26, 2010, 05:37:24 PM »
Hi all,

I apologise in advance if this is not all as it should be - my first post! Am new to the world of glass collecting and am starting with Chribska and particularly Hospodka. I have found this piece for sale and wondered if it was possibly Hospodka. Haven't seen anything else yet in this colour so am not sure if it is the real deal??

Thank you in advance for any help!

I think it is Chribska, and probably by Hospodka. At least, I've classified one in different colours as such, so I hope I'm right. I think they were produced for a long time.

You can have a look at the Chribska 1999 catalogue that Jindrich posted (it will be a great resource if you are going for Chribska pieces):

Both the shape and the colour seem to be there. I've been led to understand that Chribska used the more brighter colours from the 90s onwards - perhaps Jindrich can tell a bit more if he comes along.
