Topic: František Vízner exhibition in Nový Bor opened

On 25/11/2010 at 5 p.m. we opened the exhibition of František Vízner glass, incl pressed, Škrdlovice and his studio cut glass.
I have spent in Nový Bor exiting 3 days, unfortunately František becouse of illnes could not participate at opening.
So I have brought him on-line to screen, I suppose that it was first on-line exhibition opening in country.

Few pictures from exhibition preparation are here (possibly you will recognise our nice visitor, we were really happy that he found free 3 days in his tight shedulle and came to support us.

Can one die of lust? I think my presence at the exhibition would put that to the test.

Thank you David,
for the meanwhile we have no catalogue for this exhibition, at the exhibition desk are offered my DVD with Vizner's work, to complete list of Sklo Union and Skrdlovice I have added also Vizner's cut glass database, but it is only seletion of pieces, the complete list is nobody able to make, becouse Mr. Vizner was very dilligent artist and even he does not remmember all.

The exhibition is in private museum from private collection, without any financial support of state or any organisations so we could not afford to make printed catalogue. Possibly we will create something now, becouse we feel the demand.

It is really not so far from Germany, I use to travel very often to NRW so I know this distance. The exhibition ending is on 5th March 2011, pleanty time to plan visit Prague and Novy Bor (Haida) as well. Across the hill is Kamenicky Šenov (Steinschönau). Just let me know and I will gladly guide you.
