Unfortunately the item itself is not to hand - buried in my large garage I fear.  The signature though is pretty clear and I hope one of you can give me a maker.

What is this on?  a bowl?  A paperweight?  Do you have a pic of the whole item?

My guesses would be:

~ GAIL A_____

~ GEOF A_____

the last name looks like something like:  Ariel, or Airil......or else the two dots could be an accent mark from another country too for the last name.....like an *a* with a * .. * over it ....

Just my guesses here.......... :huh:

Did you perhaps photograph a stained glass window somewhere? I thought first name could read 'Joel' and found this:

Looks good, Pamela.  His web site says "Depuis 1979", so hopefully he was doing something else before going solo on stained glass projects.

Or maybe the signature is 94 instead.

It seems like that first letter has to be a G.  There is too much flourish for a J (in my opinion)
