Hi,
can anybody help me with this amber/brown vase? Hight 16cm, diameter 12cm.
Has irregular bubbles, lower third internally thicker then the upper part.
Base is polished (at least partly).

Has an engraved number at the bottom which I read as: "21 96 R / 170 "
May be terribly wrong here :)

It reminds me a little of the "Sargasso" designs by Kaj Franck; but haven't seen this shape, and it should have a Nuutajärvi signature then, I guess?

Thanks!
Best regards
Michael

Wow Ivo, thank you so much! I am really impressed by the great knowledge here in this forum (and especially by yours!)
I guess this was a good find then for 3 Euro :)

A happy new year from Vienna

Thanks, John.
What a great collection!

Do you know when these were designed?

Erik Höglund worked at Boda from 1953 to 1973, my guess given a design number of 968 would be some time in the 60s.
