ID on green glass dish with folded edges
« on: December 31, 2010, 03:39:46 PM »
Has anybody any ID suggestions on this 6" x 4.5" green glass dish please? It crosssed my mind originally about Whitefriars but suspect that this is wrong and would appreciate any ideas. Thanks John

Hi John, James Hogan folded rim bowl pat.no 9169 is the nearest that comes to mind similar but much larger?
Cannot think of anything else similar but will have a look in the catalogues.

Maybe Davidson, Sewerby? maybe

That was the pattern I initially thought of  but can find no trace of a smaller version being made

Hi the 9169 has all four folded sides equal they all finish the same height no dropped ends .
The small one i mentioned is 9174 with hollow blown stem and a foot i have had a couple in sea green and gold amber,  again four sides all equal . I am sure Patrick will add a picture or two when he gets back .
