Jurnikl cube look-alike. Made in China.

(1/2) > >>

Anne E.B.:
Thought I'd just show this for interest and in case anyone comes across one without a label. Shown on the left next to a Jurnikl cube.  Its very remeniscent of Jurnikl's cube shape candlestick and may be that's where they got the idea from   although this one is made in China and has a plastic label - "Shannon Crystal - Designs of Ireland - Handmade Crystal - Made in China".  It too has five sides with concave lenses, but the base is flat and the lenses are quite shallow.  Nicely made too with all its edges bevel edged and is actually a cube.  Not nearly as nice as the original though

Thanks, so much, Anne :kissy: I didn't have a clue about mine - not even the name Jurnikl - I just sort of thought I'd heard of something like the thing I saw and bought, now I know it's the real thing, and that it's a Jurnikl cube!
You've made my day. :rah:

Thank you very much Anne.
I will place link with Czech translation to my web, if possible.

Anne E.B.:
Please do Jindrich .  If you would like a better image of the "pretender", let me know and I'll provide one.

Perhaps t'other Anne could add a picture the label to the records?  I'm not too good at doing that.

Glad to have been of some help Sue ;)

Anne:
Anne, thanks for the side by side shots - yes they are very similar styles, but like you I prefer the original. :)

I'll add the label to the China album for you now, thanks.
