My assumption for the word "Trolley Dollies" is for attractive people who work as cabin crew. I wouldn't see it as an abusive term, it is a flattering term I think.
Sorry, just had to comment as I was passing through looking for information on Swiss glass. Hergiswill Glasi, not much info about it at all. Looking and learning. Sue  :)

I bought a glass butterplatter and was trying to find info on it.

Their online catalogue only shows items available at their shop now. There is no online info (known to me) on retired pieces. I have quite a few old (printed) catalogues, though: if you send me an image (or post it here), I'll have a look.

We usually visit them once a year to see their new designs. First issued last Christmas, but only available in connection with their Children's Christmas Event, now available for all, was their Lula angel, coming in four sizes, from 18.5 to 70 cm high.

BTW - there is a YouTube video about their "Erlebniswelt" (= adventure world ?) - concentrating on their museum, fun park, restaurant, ... as a tourist attraction, but also showing a few glimpses on their glass production, including a view from the gallery onto their oven area.

Still seems to be available - see here.

Would the dimensions (195 mm x 120 mm) be correct for your platter?

The reason I bought it is because here in England we have a bull used in advertising called Fergus used in conjunction with OXO and Beefeater. It must be his brother or something. Thanks for the help. Sue.
