plumen designer light bulb
« on: February 07, 2011, 09:23:34 AM »
I came across this whilst searching studio glass makers for my light shade.  I'm still not sure about having bare bulbs in the house regardless of how quirky, but I actually think it is a fabulous idea.  Certainly in bigger spaces where the lighting is part of an overall concept, they look amazing.
You should just be able to scroll down a bit to see them in action

Thanks m! These are very nice - I've forwarded the link to my husband and friends who work in energy efficiency.

They look good as pendant lights but I'd not like them in a table lamp as shown there. In a more modern fitting they'd work though. It just shows how a bit of lateral thinking can make ordinary things more interesting, thanks M! :)

glad you both like them.  Anne I know what you mean, but I have to confess to liking the lamps with the bulbs...it reminds me of Amsterdam for some reason - sitting in bars and cafes where they would juxtapose old and new in exactly that way  ;D
They've inspired me to have another look at our lighting... plans afoot  ;D
