Help Please --
« on: February 08, 2011, 09:31:15 PM »
Hi, I was traveling the World today (via the net) - by checking out the people little Web pages (etc) at the side of posts -- so I enjoyed the Glass trip, and nice to see these websites, or your web pages.  More people should check them out...

Anyways on laughaugh site -- he had this piece of glass under unknown glass:
https://picasaweb.google.com/lasilove/Unknown#5496912129905974930

I am sure I had posted something like that here, but I can not find my post -- as to what was said there -- and if these 2 look the same.  So I can not find it, and tried everything under the search I could think off.  I know I posted it, as I have the pic of it:

so I was just wondering ???? if his and mine might ??? be the same ???  sort of glass ??? (both unknown..)

thanks :-\

Donald Rumsfeld missed a couple of tricks.

There could of course be similar or even identical unknowns, you could say these are now matching known unknowns.  :spls:

Thanks for the id request on my behalf.  Astrid has a very similar piece. I bought it hoping it it might be John Orwar Lake, which it looked like in the original picture, bit it's too big and not well enough done.

Yes, I had a thread because mine had a scribbled signature that looked like Reuss, but was probably false. My current idea is that it is factory production from one of the emerging glass countries, Poland, Roumania, China, Lithuania... not bad looking, though.

Boy, they do look alike....and very much like Astrid too....but...

...and I agree with Astrid too that they are Not bad looking.  Must look OK for us to buy them.  Will keep my eyes open on this one too when I google to see IF we can not find some more info about them.

The search goes on.... ;) I promise
