Pink Alabastro Fox c.1955
« on: February 21, 2011, 09:39:06 PM »
This little fox has been around all my life.  It would have been purchased mid-1950's by my parents during their time in Italy.  You can see it has some condition issues but, then, don't we all .... :pb:  Am I correct in saying it is alabastro?  Any idea as to attribution?

Thanks for taking a look ..... Lily  :)

Yes, it looks like alabastro. I don't know who made it. It doesn't look like the Archimede Seguso fox, and the bottom looks different than their work. It's cute, though.

Thanks, Anita & Martin.  I appreciate your thoughts.  Hopefully someone will recognize this little fox someday.  In the meantime, I will continue to enjoy its company just as I always have.

Lily :)
