Overshot and amber trailed vase - Clichy?
« on: March 05, 2011, 11:33:30 PM »
I acquired this lovely vase recently. The body is in overshot clear glass then there are applied trails in a rich amber colour. The pontil mark has been ground out and polished. According to the seller the vase was brought back from France and my first thoughts on seeing it was late 19th century Sèvres or Clichy. However, this type of glass is out of my comfort zone, so I'd value any other opinions.

Thanks,
Steven

I love it!  but I have to say I saw one recently very similar and I thought it was Bohemian and Kralik?  However that is just guesswork.
