ID Amber glass carafe with polka dots ... 1960's ?
« on: March 30, 2011, 12:10:34 PM »
Can anyone identify the likely maker of this carafe ?

It stands 13 inches high, and weighs just over 3lbs (33cms and 1.6kgs). The pontil is polished, and there are no makers marks visible. My guess is 1960's but I could be out by 10 years either way.

I've searched the net, but I'm none the wiser, hopefully a forum member can shed some light on it.

I'd say much later than the 1960s. It is too large, the decoration is simple. My guess: mass production in India, Romania, China or Poland circa 2000.
