Small heavy candlestick, modern studio type glass Like IOW
« on: April 01, 2011, 05:23:17 PM »
Good Evening

This small candle stick came into the Hospice Warehouse this week, here on the Isle of Wight. The blue cental section on the base is full of broken bubbles and like honeycombe. The top of the neck and the base have been polished.

It is 400mm tall and the base is just under 300mm in diameter.
Thanks for any help.
Jeanne

Jeanne, can you just check and confirm those dimensions please as they sound awfully big for a small candlestick. 400mm = 16 inches and 300mm = 12 inches.

Oh, how right you are! I could always blame a fast repeat on the keysssssssssssssssssss
40mm and 30mm would be right.

Phew! Thanks for the update Jeanne, I was trying to envisage how big the candle would need to be for the earlier dimensions... not so much a candle but a camp-fire. :)

So it really is a tiny one then!
