Victorian Fairy Lamps?
« on: April 09, 2011, 11:17:31 AM »
Acquired these at my local auction this week.  Had a doddle about the net but can't find anything that comes near.  Are they fairy lamps and any idea of origin?  Thanks

using Anne's link..........if you go to 'Undocumented Fairy Lamp photo gallery - Nos. 321 to 340 (5th item down on column two), there is a petaled design shown with accompanying silvered base.   May not be a match, but certainly very similar. :)

Jim Sapp, owner of that site, would know for sure. Why don't you drop him a line with a link to this thread?

Depending on size - if they are small enough - they would make lovely napkin rings.  Most unusual.
