One for our Pam !!!!!!
« on: April 12, 2011, 10:18:53 PM »
Scoured Pam's fabulous site looking for maker and pattern name for this.  Bought the full fruit bowl set.  I know it's German because it says so on the edge of one of the handles  ;D

no luck so far, I'm afraid

I've got small bowls, some are even 'painted' all over on the outside with some sort of cheap, coloured varnish or so, they're still a mystery

Interesting to hear they (who?) made them for export too

I'm still seeing plenty of examples here in NZ, large and small, some with coloured varnish and some without. There is also a great variation in asking price between vendors!

I've also seen them listed on Oz Ebay.
So yes, I think its safe to assume they were also made for the export market because of the numbers of them that turn up.
Cheers
