Amber Vase,Possibly Czech/Sklo Union?
« on: April 20, 2011, 03:45:16 PM »

 Hello Everyone,

Would be grateful for help with this Amber Vase I bought today. It reminds me of a few of the Czech pieces I've owned, but looking through the books and online resources I have at hand cannot find it. As I say its a lovely rich Golden Amber standing 5.75inches (about 15cm) tall and weighs a hefty 1.650 Kg.

TIA for any help you are able to give.

                       Warmest Wishes,

                            John

We need a base shot and to know whether it's cut or pressed please.

A flat polished base does not mean it's not pressed. Inwald stuff had very flat shiny polished bottoms. I still can't tell. If it is cut it is not Sklo Union.
