not Bagley or Sowerby (as far as I can see) - and I've trawled Pamela's pictures of bowls thinking it looked a Walter sort of green  -  but may well have missed it somewhere.       Diameter is about 7.5"/190mm, and may well be minus a plinth and/or a centre piece.     Very grateful if anyone does recognize the design, and thanks for looking. :)

thanks rose - the UK heat wave is (apparently) about to end - but in the south of the country we have been having almost record April temperatures over the past few days - believe it was something like 27.5 C. near London yesterday.    The down side is that farmers are now suffering from a drought, and we will probably get a hosepipe ban soon.
Still it is bringing out record crowds for the boot sales here. ;D
I'd not seen this design before - I only bought it because it was very cheap at Sterling £0.50 - and it will probably end up going into a charity shop.   Trouble is, I just can't resist the 'glow'.

"Bernsdorf I think"  -  sorry Christine, I'm unable to find it on Pamela's picture gallery - I'm also unable to see a Masterbuch's site for Bernsdorf (I assume it's German).      Sorry to seem thick - were you going from memory, or did you actually see this on Pamela's site. :)

I was gong from memory, but I'm probably wrong. The full company name is Ankerglas Bernsdorf.

:hi: Paul, no match found here in the books, I'm afraid. Will not forget the look of it and return to you if I find it 'by chance'. This happens mostly when looking for another, completely different pattern  :pb:
Pamela
Experience teaches that anyone who begins to collect in any field can feel a change in his soul. He becomes a joyful man filled with a deeper empathy, and a more open understanding moves his soul.
Alfred Lichtwark (1852-1914)
