Hi boBA  :hi: What a fascinating piece of glass and a very interesting story......do you think that Prof Liskova might have made glass animals?  I ask, because Anik has a cute little elephant that is probably made by someone who makes scientific instruments....just a thought??

Robert, it's a wonderful piece.

Rosie, Vera Liskova did make glass animals, but the ones I've seen in photographs are quite different from my elephant.  You can see examples of her really fabulous work on Jindrich's site (go to "designers", click on "K-L", and then on 'Vera Liskova" at the very bottom of the list.)

Wow!  They are fabulous Anik.....what a treat....don't these glass artists have the most amazing creative and talented minds?? I wonder if I will ever get one of hers in my collection of animals????
I like your elephant as well though. :)
