8.75 inches tall,no marks little wear,not a clue ::) any ideas? ;D

I have seen similar in clear glass that were French and dating from the 50s or 60s, can't remember the maker though.

Just a suggestion...seen some by VSL with a twisted main body (slightly different to yours, although triangular shaped base) Pink glass cased in clear if i remember correctly. These were marked on the base in very small lettering.

could be VSL or Art Vannes, could also be Portieux or Lux of Austria.
