Scandanavian glass?

I'm pretty sure this is Swedish, but I can't ID the signature.  Any thoughts?  Thanks for looking.

I wonder if it is upside down and actually readds LH 9111 which may indicate Lindstrand?

Since LH is a Kosta Lindstrand coding shouldn't Kosta be somewhere on the piece?

The quality of the work must preclude a Lindstrand design, it is crude and simplistic, twee yes, artistic no.

It is unusual to have anything engraved facing away from the center of the base.

I agree the quality is certainly nothing like you would expect from a Lindstrand piece & if Kosta is missing from the signature then the LH may not refer to Lindstrand at all.

I also wondered about the Kosta logo seen here http://glassgallery.yobunny.org.uk/displayimage.php?album=543&pos=54 which is somewhat akin to the mark shown in Uphoosier's photo.

That said I agree the engraving/etching/sandblasting to the vase seems very crude and one wonders if someone has enhanced their item with a dubious signature.
