Topic: mini-mini-miniature pink pressed glass jardiniere, ID = Ladena Viznerova for SU

Bought this miniature jardiniere today.
Looks like a shrunken Vizner piece

Height 5.5 cm, width 7 cm (not much bigger than a box of matches)

Pressed glass, pinkish colour, textured surface. Base finish identical to other Sklo Union pieces.
Any ideas?

the same as these I believe, although not textured. There's also one shown in Mark Hills book on page 18, although  states that the designer is unknown. Again the one shown is not textured.

I don't think Michael's is the same as the vase on page 18...  his doesn't taper at the top.
As for the vases in your link, I believe they are a Vizner design for Hermanova pattern number 20053.

I have looked into Emil's gallery very often, but never noticed this vase...
Seems to be the same as mine (and also a relative of the one to the right of it, with the Bohemia label).

So I can be quite sure it is Czech, then.
But if Emil hasn't found out what it is, it will be difficult I guess...

What about the pink colour -- quite unusual for Sklo Union?

At least I finally found a vase which doesn't take up too much space

According to Marcus Newhall's website, pink was used by some Sklo Union glassworks.  For a list of colours, see here (scroll down): http://www.sklounion.com/SkloID.html

Very interesting; I have a Vladislav Urban vase in a peachy pink colour like the ones GBarfoot linked to, but this midget think has a pink/amethyst hue (looks like Neodymium, but it isn't).

I've seen a labeled one before so it's definetly Czech. All I know about it is that it isn't a Vizner design (according to Jindrich).

I just saw that the very same vase in the Sklo Union collection sale was identified by our friend Jindrich as a design by Ladena Viznerova!
