Topic: Small but heavy smoky sculptural vase... help with origin, please

I'm hoping that someone will be able to help in identifying my vase...  please.

Though it's only 11cm tall and 12cm wide, the piece weighs 1233g... It's very sculptural, as you can see from my photos.   The base is smooth, shiny and slightly concave.  There is a lot of of wear to it.  

I think it's a wonderful item... heavy, thick, fluid yet tactile.    As always, all ideas and comments are welcomed and appreciated.

OK, I'll be the first to throw my hat into the ring......it's ringing bells as being Leerdam and designed by A D Copier.

Thank you for taking the time to reply.  Dutch never crossed my mind, though I did think German was a strong possibility. I've googled Leerdam, and searched this site       http://www.hogelandshoeve.nl/      but haven't come up with any match... yet.

Could a kind moderator add "Dutch?" to my subject line to attract more views, please?

Have you tried the Dutch glass museum search?

At the top of the page, where it says "zoek in de collectie van het museum" you can fill in your search terms (in Dutch).

If you click one below the open space, on 'uitgebreid zoeken', you enter the extensive search module. You can refine your search by designer, period or type of object (in this case, your object is a 'vaas'.

Personally, I'm not sure it's Copier or Leerdam (but I don't know that much about Dutch glass). It's a bit ... curvy. It could be Scandinavian or German, or perhaps even French.

If it is Dutch, luckily there are other people on this forum much more qualified to have an opinion

Astrid, thank you for your help.  I've taken a look at the link and looked at the 2275 pieces under 'vaas', but unfortunately did not find my vase.   :usd:

Though I do realize I should know better by now, I don't know how to adequately describe my vase in order to refine my search.  'Smoky sculptural vase' has not got me very far. :spls:  Could someone provide me with a better description, please?

Despite my search for any glass vase 'optic' or 'scultural', I still haven't been able to find this piece.  So a little nudge, please...
