"Scottish Paperweight"
« on: June 07, 2011, 04:18:51 PM »
This auction has just finished.  It was described simply as a 'Scottish Paperweight'.   But I'm guessing some people think it's by Paul Ysart, judging by the price it fetched.   The centre cane reminds me of some Caithness weights and also others by Peter Holmes.

Any views on maker?

Thanks

Keith

I missed it, too!

This one is likely to be from the 1950s or very early 60s (pre-Caithness years).
