« on: June 21, 2011, 04:22:47 AM »
Greetings- having to liquidate some stuff and was after an opinion on this Strathern paperweight- is it a standard one of thousands made or something a little less common. Any thought are welcome. Regards from a chilly New Zealand- Carol

Hi Carol,
These Strathearn spoked weights are very common indeed and there are usually some on Ebay UK for sale, they are more desireable if they have the S signature cane and a date cane but I'm afraid they don't fetch much.

Yes, it's one of the daily production pieces. I guess it's a standard diameter size of 2.5 inch / 82 mm. Or is it about 3 inch / 76 mm?

I did not check my earlier post very well before I hit the send button ... I said 2.5 inch = 82 mm :spls:

Yes, Carol, at 65 mm (approx 2.5 inch) yours is of the more common size that I have seen
