Squat Mdina vase or do I describe it as a globe vase? early...ish  mid- 70s ? 3" high

Both, ;D it is a globe vase and a squat one at that. Date is probably mid to late 70s maybe creeping into 80s but nigh on impossible to tell.

In the book (Mark Hill's) page 50 it says
'.....Although this squat globe shape and colour were designed and used by Michael, the more compacted form and presence of a flat, wide spreading rim, rather than a 'button' rim show this to be a later piece.  Mid to late 1970s'

Thanks John, I have the book m the one in there is described as 4.25" with this being even squatter at 3" thought I had better check before I started calling it a 'globe' vase :sun:
