Amethyst vase

Hi, this amethyst vase stands 12.5 inches tall and has a rim dia of 5.75 inches dia tapering down to a substantial base of 4.5 inches dia. The body has a slight twist on the body and has a polished out pontil mark and wear marks on the base. weight 2.570 kgs
Any idea,s please of maker.
