They were also made sold in the UK, the Heron Glass shop at Ulverston (now closed down) had some in their displays.

Edited as we don't have evidence they were made by Heron, just that they sold them, as Nigel rightly pointed out below. :)

These are really very lovely CV, but I have quite a laugh looking through the ebay listings....one was listed as a Glass Jellyfish Oil Burner!!
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Amethyst-Clear-Glass-Jellyfish-Shape-Oil-Burner-New-/120752364553
Most are listed as Vintage Art Deco,  but I would agree with Wayne, they are definately Polish glass,  I like them and they come in the most amazing designs, and are actally quite expensive.
Did you look at the Jozefina web site....there is an enormous variety of shapes and sizes....they are all hand made, so no two are ever quite the same.

Just as a footnote, because our postings have crossed....these are sold in many British stores and glass shops,  but I really don't think they are made over here....all my searches in the past (and there have been many!) show them to be Polish.....but I am willing to be proved otherwise.
Hi Anne,  :hi:  At ine time, the Ulverston shop also sold the little Chinese birds I collect!!

Rosie, given our other conversation about the Heron Glass International label, I'd be wondering if they had imported them from Poland et al except that Ray, who lives in Ulverston and spent a fair bit of time in the shop, was sure in an earlier board post (which I can't find!) they made them there too. Isn't it annoying when you can't find something you know is there?! :)

Now I don't feel bad when I can not find posts either -- including mine  :24: :24:  which happens often to me.  I think I have seen something posted here like this too -- somewhere... :thud:

I'm sure I posted one about Jozefina glass as well, and I can't find it either :pb:......are we all of an age?  30 something?  :24:

Taking your point though Anne, I do wonder if they started selling  other 'giftware' when things stared to get tricky for them.....hope we can find out.
