Tall Amberina Pitcher with Clear Handle, American?
« on: August 04, 2011, 11:30:50 PM »
Hello again Everyone,
This past week I received this large piece from the UK.
Measures a little over 11" tall (27.94 cm), and was way too cheap to pass up.
Took a gamble and paid for the overseas shipping, but I thought it could be something special.
It has a Dark Red - Orange - Pale Yellow fade throughout the piece.
Has a concave pontil mark with partial label (too little of it).
I see an "MA" on it, but that is it.
The label is Yellow and Silver if that will help.

Anyone have thoughts on it?
My first thought was that the piece is American, but I could be mistaken.
Thank you all for any information!
Javier

I don't believe this is U.S. at least not commercial U.S. in the form of any company I've seen in 38 years. Its almost like a strange blend of Wheeling like Peachblow on a modern form unless of course its a mass production studio piece from here.
