Could this be Whitefriars?
« on: August 21, 2011, 01:27:47 PM »
I bought this 6 1/2 inch vase confidently thinking Whitefriars in Arctic Blue but have spent a large part of today wading through catalogues etc and finding no reference and now not so sure. All thoughts gratefully received, John

Doesn't look like Arctic Blue to me or any other Whitefriars colourway. Maybe it's the photo, don't recognise the shape either but then I am no expert.

A couple of 'true' colour examples of Arctic here John if it helps, it was used been 1959 and 1970 to be honest although I am normally a bit wary of saying no straight out, on this occasion taking into account the colour and foot it's a no from me I'm afraid.
