The items are for sale, some have little red spots beside their names on the price list.

There were tiny little Emma BCA birds for sale in the museum shop bit - a good bit smaller than Jethro.

Oh that Jethro birdy is simply gorrrrgeous!  Bit like the Vistosi birds with his super little metal leggys!  (I tend to lapse into baby language when I see little birdies like that...lol!)

Every single little bird is completely different, Max - each one has its own name.
They do remind me a bit of Vistossi - just as quirky - but Emma's are affordable.

I think Jethro sized ones were about £62 each on the site - I paid £65 each for Jethro and Amber at the Queen's Gallery in Dundee. Totty ones in Perth Museum were £45 each.

I have Jethro and Amber on the middle (between top and bottom) of my kitchen window-sill - they get lit beautifully there, all day long.
I got one for my wee brother's birthday and one for me - then couldn't bear to part with one. I've promised him one for his yuletide.
(I got him a Rachel Elliot cast Garden shed too, also from the Queen's Gallery, then couldn't bear to part with it.)

These birdies really are rather special - the glass is melted together very, very nicely - I imagine she uses higher temperatures than for normal slumping and fusing.

Mmm...it was their feathers I particularly liked too!

They're scrafitto, Max, I don't know what the "ink" background is - her initials (signature) are in the feathers of each bird.
